RIBS TPTD: “Wonder, Charles & Benson”

Dropping this a little later than expected, but better late than not at all, right? Installment #3 of Triple Play Thurs-Day is [finally] here!

This week we turn our attention to selections from three masters of Soul, R&B and Jazz:

1. the genius of Steveland Morris, better known to all as Stevie Wonder,
2. the unique versatility of Ray Charles, and
3. the Jazz guitar and smooth vocals of George Benson

As I always attempt to do with the mixes posted here, I have tried to stay away from the very popular and more familiar songs from these artists (for the most part) and give you a sampling of songs that you may not have heard in a long while (or only hear infrequently) and some things that you didn’t even know they had recorded. Overall, what I hope I have achieved is a nice flow from song to song and artist to artist. You might consider it an “enjoyable feast to sooth your aural appetite”!
